Note, that while the Parma Magica is a fundamental aspect of the Order of Hermes, it is not an aspect of Hermetic Magic in Fifth Edition. Bonisagus invented the parma magica long before completing his unified theory. More important, anyone with the gift can learn the parma magica as an arcane ability, whether or not he or she is part of a tradition that precludes practicing Hermetic Magic.
