Words and Gestures

For all Formulaic and Spontaneous spells it is possible to vary the degree of emphasis on words and gestures so that the spell casting becomes more or less subtle, with a corresponding shift in the Casting Total.

Both words and gestures can contribute separate (and cumulative) modifiers.
