Conciliatory Board

A board of (usually) three archai in the Theban Tribunal who help arbitrate disputes between magi, witness Certamen, notarize the founding of new covenants and record claims to vis sources. They are assisted in their duties by legal advice from House Guernicus magi and by redcaps appointed by the logothete. The board has now power to convene itself or intervene in any matter unless requested to do so by a polites and must unanimously agree any decision. The board has the power to issue a decree of contrition, a process which can remove shards from polites, an important aspect of life in the Theban Tribunal.
