Welcome to the Project: Redcap community! We invite and encourage participation from players of all level of experience. For information about the project and its goals, please see Project Redcap:About.

We invite newcomers who are interested in joining the project to contact us. You can also go ahead and start editing, if you prefer.

How to Contribute

The most important thing is to read and follow our copyright policy. We've tried to keep it brief, and it really does matter.

After that, our contributing page has some tips for newcomers and should provide an orientation. You are welcome to contribute in any way you want: our page on Project Redcap:Sub-Projects has some suggestions if you are looking for ideas.

Joining the Community

If all you want to do is read, edit, and write pages, you are already a member of our community. You don't need to get a sponsor or a membership card or anything!

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback. You can also write to the project director personally if you don't want to use the contact form.

If you want to take your involvement to the next level and influence how the Project: Redcap wiki is organized, help steer our priorities in content development, or influence editorial policy, there are three tools we use:

  1. The hermesweb mailing list. To subscribe, write to mlm at lists dot ekkia dot org with the subject line "subscribe hermesweb"
  2. The Project Redcap:Administration page. You can go ahead and post to that if you have something to say: no membership card required!
  3. For the detail-oriented, we have an issue-tracking system located at http://verditius.andrewgronosky.us . There is a guest account: the user name is 'guest' and the password is the Latin name for a male member of the Order of Hermes.

What We're Working On

See Project Redcap:Current events for the latest events.

We use the Project Redcap:Administration page to propose and discuss administrative subjects, like what sorts of content we want to develop next or whether to change the content of the navigation menu. Once we've come to consensus on a proposal, we move it to the Project Redcap:Sub-Projects page. The list of sub-projects is not meant to be restrictive: you are welcome to do something that's not on the list, or propose your own sub-project if you think other people might want to help with it.
