The Treasurer is head of the Treasury Council in the Theban Tribunal. More correctly known by the Greek tamias (lit. 'treasurer') they are appointed from among the Archai and are expected to take the vis needed for each seven year period out before each tribunal from the stores at Delos, where they are responsible for looking after the Tribunal communally owned vis sources. Given the only key is in the possession of the Archon, the role may be largely ceremonial, unless the archon and tamias roles are assigned to the same person in a given seven year period.
