= History Grand Tribunal was brought to life by Chris Romer, Ars Magica author and activist, in 2007 as a RPG-convention entirely dedicated to Ars Magica. It took place in Cheltenham, England. The event was quite a success, and attracted enthusiasts from all over (real) Europe, as well as two authors from the new world. In 2008, Grand Tribunal was held again, and again was considered a success, attracting not only more activists than in 2007, but also Line Editor David Chart. Furthermore, an equally successful convention, Grand Tribunal California, was organized by Erik Dahl, and took place in California at exactly the same time. = Future Neil Taylor and Sheila Thomas, authors and participants of the other two conventions, have volunteered to organize Grand Tribunal in 2009, this time as part of a larger RPG-convention that will take place in Cambridge, England. = See also * Website of the Grand Tribunal convention * The term Grand Tribunal in the context of Hermetic society
