Vardian's Tomb

Vardian's Tomb is a covenant in located in the catacombs of Rome, in the Roman Tribunal. It was introduced in Third Edition Tribunals of Hermes: Rome, but was used as a sample place for investigation into lost magic in the the Fifth Edition supplement Ancient Magic. Later on, it was also mentioned in one of the adventures in Tales of Power. There's also mention of the covenant in Guardians of the Forest, where it is said that a necromancer from the covenant created a plague against Emperor Barbarossa at the behest of four Tytalus members of the covenant of Luctatio.

It was comprised either largely or wholly of House Ex Miscellanea necromancers and magi of House Jerbiton.

In the state of affairs described in Tribunals of Hermes: Rome, it was not officially recognised by the Roman Tribunal, therefore it had no legal rights.
