Order of the Green Cockerel

The Order of the Green Cockerel is an esoteric mystery cult introduced in TMRE. Like all the cults in that book it is not strictly canonical, and may or may not exits in your saga.

Founded by Jahm of Alexandria in 956, the cult remains tiny until the explosion of interest in alchemy in the second half of the twelfth century. The cult forms a learned society, and its members are less careful to hide their involvement than members of other esoteric groups, but are very careful to preserve their secrets.

The group is divided in to seven ranks: The Toads, The White Swans, The Green Kings, The Peacocks, The Unicorns, The Pelicans and the highest rank, The Phoenix.
