Opinions and Commentary

As the resulting vis cannot be stored, this Mystery has very few applications. It is useful for shoring up a little missing raw vis for a longevity ritual or for casting a ritual spell, and that too only if the magus can invest an entire season to do so. For most sagas, raw vis will be plentiful enough so that needing to invest a season in this way would be a rare occurrence indeed. The saga will probably also benefit more if the magus instead spends the season adventuring to get that needed vis.

Given its limited applicability, you may want to consider demoting this Mystery to a Minor status, or making the extracted vis permanent, regular, raw vis. In the latter case, this Mystery can easily surpass standard Hermetic vis extraction for most nature magi and can provide any Form desired, making it a worthy Major virtue that can allow the magus come up with any raw vis he needs with a Season of work.
