Bernice of Thessalonica was the mater of Flavius of Jerbiton, as she named him, better known in the Order of Hermes as Jerbiton the Founder. Bernice did not attend the meeting of the Founders for a number of reasons, but sent Jerbiton in her place. She did join the Order, but died before the First Tribunal.

References

Bernice is introduced for the first time in Fifth Edition in pages 39-41 of Houses of Hermes: Societates. She was a rewrite of Jerbiton's paren from prior editions. Both Order of Hermes and Houses of Hermes painted a picture of Jerbiton's paren as, what was in those editions, a typical magus who Jerbiton resented for taking him away from mundane society. Jerbiton's resentment was so great that his paren's identity was completely unknown in those earlier editions.
