Four Seasons
The Four Seasons are a series of loosely-connected, long-range scenarios meant to thematically illustrate the life cycle of a typical Covenant with that of the troupe of player characters.
The scenarios are built to develop slowly and to have otherwise unrelated adventures happening during their timeframes. The creative teams of the books are distinct as well; there seems to be no single unifying author involved in all four parts.
- Part I, A Midsummer Night's Dream, is a Third Edition scenario and illustrates the passage from Spring to Summer
- Part II, The Tempest, is a Second Edition scenario and illustrates the passage from Summer to Autumn
- Part III, A Winter's Tale, is a Second Edition scenario and illustrates the passage from Autumn to Winter
- Part IV, Twelfth Night, is a Third Edition scenario and illustrates the passage from Winter to Spring
Interestingly, the series was published out-of-order; Part I was published in 1992, while Part II was published in 1990. It also broke through the transition from Second to Third Edition, and from Lion Rampant to White Wolf.
