Archmage Urgen Midusulfis Twin-Slayer of House Bjornaer is a retired primus of his house, having stepped down after three decades in 1203 for the current primus, Falke. He is a staunch Wilderist who became primus because of the invasion of Crintera's island by the King of Denmark, though he failed to prevent the conquest of the island in 1201. He is still active in the house. He is the leader of both Clan Midsuluf and the Bjornaer Council.

Publication history

Urgen was introduced, along with all the Houses of Hermes in the Second Edition source book Order of Hermes. His attitude is what the community would now call Wilderist, though the political divisions of Wilderist and Harmonist were developed then. As the official starting year for the game was prior to 1203 in that edition, Urgen was the current primus. The interrim work (between Third Edition and Fourth Edition) Houses of Hermes mentioned Urgen as the previous primus, but indicated that he had pressured to resign by the queasitores. This could match in Fifth Edition, given the particular role of primus in House Bjornaer (see Houses of Hermes: Mystery Cults, page 15), though the quaesitores pressure as opposed to the whole tribunal's should not be emphasized (See Guardians of the Forest).
