One of the fifteen Hermetic Arts, Animal (abbr. An) is a Form that deals with animals and animal products of all kinds. The latter will concern even the most wilderness adverse, bookish magi, as spells affecting leather and vellum (which is the most used material for pages) require animal. Also, animal products can be used in some dyes. Animal fat is the main, if not only form of grease in Mythic Europe and is also used for soap and tallow (basically used for candles where wax is not available). These are all in addition to bone products, furs, feather, down, and more exotic animal products.

Notable traditions and magi

House Bjornaer magi are more likely to focus in this art so as to affect themselves in heartbeast form as well as affect other animals.
