This article is about the board game. For for the in setting event that occurs within the role-playing game Ars Magica, see Grand Tribunal. For For the real life convention for fans of the Ars Magica role-playing game, see Grand Tribunal (convention).
In March 2006, Atlas Games released it's first, and currently only, Ars Magica themed "board game", Grand Tribunal. This is a bit of a misnomer as the theme and goal of the game- trying to win prizes for magic items created over a number of turns/seasons- would lead those familiar with the role-playing game to identify it with the Verditius Contest instead of any tribunal.
