A Transitionalist within House Guernicus or the Quaesitores is a quaesitor that argues for deviating from the traditional Code of Hermes and interpretation thereof, in favor of greater Quaeitorial authority and lenience in dealing with mundanes. They are opposed by the Traditionalist movement.
