Seithr, also known by many variants and variant spellings including Seithkona (plural Seithkonur) and Seithkonir, are Nordic witches of ill repute that use a magic system taught by Gullveig exclusively to women. That magic system is not Rune Magic, nor Hermetic Magic.[1]
Previous Editions
In Fourth Edition the Seithkonur are described in Ultima Thule: Mythic Scandinavia[2] and later referenced and further elaborated in Land of Fire and Ice: Mythic Iceland. They are described as having access to fylgja, protective animal spirits, and in many cases may shapeshift into the guise of their fylgja.
