The Four Seasons are a series of loosely-connected, long-range scenarios meant to thematically illustrate the life cycle of a typical Covenant with that of the troupe of player characters.

The scenarios are built to develop slowly and to have otherwise unrelated adventures happening during their timeframes. The creative teams of the books are distinct as well; there seems to be no single unifying author involved in all four parts.

Interestingly, the series was published out-of-order, starting with Part II and ending with Part I. It also broke through the transition from Second to Third Edition, and from Lion Rampant to White Wolf.
