Admittance determines the formal status a Faerie has in an aura or regio of a type other than its own.
Without admittance or an appropriate arcane connection a Faerie has to keep his or her Glamour contained in his or her own body, and therefore it is not possible to employ powers beyond the Touch range.
Admittance can be gained in various ways, both formal and informal, as detailed in pages 15-16 of Realms of Power: Faerie.
