Hermetic Sorcery is a Major Tainted and Hermetic Virtue that ties together the practice of (Infernal) sorcery and Hermetic magic.
Such sorcery should not be confused with Sorcerous Music, which is a Magical mystery and a variant of Performance Magic.
Opinions and Commentary
Note that Goetic magi can already use Rego instead of their Goetic Arts (RoPTI page 124), so there is little benefit to learning these Arts (instead of the much more versatile Rego). Likewise, they can use Vim instead of Infernal Lore, so again there is usually little benefit to learning it. Infernal and other Lore, however, may be useful to gain True Names or so on, so that it would likely still be increased somewhat. Even so, the benefit of this Virtue is far more limited that what it may seem at first, and it is doubtful whether is should be considered Major.
