A Wizard's Sigil usually refers to his unique style and identifying quirks of magic. If even a [[Spell Trace|trace]] of his magic remains, it is possible to detect and identify a wizard's magic as his own.
A Voting Sigil is a physical object used by Magi to represent the right to vote on their stead.<ref>[[ArM5|Fifth Edition Core Rulebook]], page 86</ref>  In [[House Tremere]] it is costumary for paters to hold the voting sigils of their filii.<ref>''[[Houses of Hermes: True Lineages]]'', page 48, insert "Proxy Voting"</ref>


A less common use of the term is to refer to the physical voting sigil used by the magus ([[ArM5]] 86).

A Voting Sigil is a physical object used by Magi to represent the right to vote on their stead.[1] In House Tremere it is costumary for paters to hold the voting sigils of their filii.[2]
