== Opinions and Commentary ==

As a low-level simple damaging spell, this is arguably one of the standard combat spells of the Order, especially for magi not otherwise focusing on combat. It is especially useful as it allows throwing any object, and always hits. Magi concerned with fighting supernatural opponents, however, may want to invest in a high [[Finesse]] and make use of the [[Invisible Sling of Vilano]] (see [[Houses of Hermes: Societates]], page 38) instead, as a way to circumvent [[Magic Resistance]]. Alternatively, since this is a low-[[spell level|level]] spell, magi could also stick with this spell and work on improving their [[Casting Score]] and/or [[Penetration]] to go through Magic Resistance rather than around it. Both approaches are viable.
