This spell increases the target's Size, but does not affect its [[Characteristics]]. This is in contrast to the Muto Animal spell [[Beast of Outlandish Size]]. One possible explanation is that this spell is Base 3, whereas BoOS is Base 4. In this case, increasing the spell's level by one magnitude (to level 20) should allow the same changes to Characteristics. Such changes in Characteristics become more relevant, for consistency with creature statistics, with larger changes to Size; the spell guidelines do not, however, provide guidelines on the difficulty of such spells.
