Second filia of Flambeau the Founder, Elaine was a famous Flambeau author[1]. She specialized in fire magic like her pater and was a noted Hoplite as well as an author[2]. Her surviving works are kept in the Great Library.
Elaine's known works are listed in Project: Redcap's Books Index. HoHS also mentions that she may have written other books, now lost, that characters might seek as a story[1].
