In the [[Theban Tribunal]] a body of (usually) seven [[archai]] technically known as the ''apodektai''. Their role is to administer the shared vis sources of the Tribunal, and oversee the [[Apprentice Auction]]. One is appointed [[Treasurer]] (''tamias'') and is responsible for the Tribunal stores at [[Delos]]; four are charged with collecting the Tribunal's vis sources and locating new Gifted children to be made available as apprentices, and two with training the children in [[Classical Greek]] and other skills until the next Tribunal where they will be presented at the [[Apprentice Auction]]. They are assisted in their duties by redcaps assigned by the [[logothete]]. The Treasury Council is described in [[The Sundered Eagle]] p. 28.
